frequently asked questions

What if my child cannot attend the whole Sports Camp?

Still come! Register your Camper like normal and bring them on the days they’re available to come.

What if I can only volunteer for part of Sports Camp?

No problem, we would still love to have you! Please let us know what days of Sports Camp you’re able to serve on the volunteer form and we’ll take care of the rest.

My child has food allergies. Can I bring my child's own snack?

Absolutely! Each night you arrive, give your Camper’s snack to their Team Captain. Please make sure it is clearly labeled. We also recommend that you list your Camper’s food allergies on their registration form.

What does my child need to wear? Will my child need a change of clothes?

We advise to dress for hot weather, and please wear comfortable tennis shoes (please no sandals). Your Camper will not need a change of clothes.

Who can I contact while my child is at Sports Camp?

Contact information will be provided once your Camper has been assigned to a Team.

How are Campers divided into tracks and small groups?

Campers will be assigned a team based on their gender and grade. Campers will be in tracks by grade: PreK, K-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade.

Can my child bring a water bottle?

Water bottles are welcome and encourage, but water will be available and provided. Please clearly label your Camper’s name on their water bottle.

How old does my child need to be to attend Sports Camp?

Sports Camp is open to children who are four years old (and completely potty-trained) by January 1, 2026, through children who have completed 5th grade this school year.

What will my child be eating?

We will be serving a snack and a drink daily. These will be listed each day upon arrival.

Will childcare be provided for Sports Camp?

No, we do not offer childcare during Sports Camp.

How do I check in my child?

Each night, walk your Camper(s) into the Auditorium (K-5th grade) or PreK Room to their Team Captain. On Night One, your Camper(s) should wear their name tag lanyard into the building. At the end of each night, their Team Captain will collect the lanyards and return them to the Camper(s) the next day.

Can I bring a child that has not registered?

Only if space is available. There are a limited number of Campers allowed at each campus. For the safety of all Campers, once those spots are filled, we can no longer accept additional children. Visit our website to see if spaces are available.

My child has allergies and/or a medical condition that might require medication. Can I bring their medication?

No problem! Notify your Camper’s Team Captain on Night One so they can make a note of it on their roster. Then, take the medication to the Nurse’s Station. Please remember to collect your Camper’s medication on the last night of camp.

May I stay with my child?

Yes, however you must have background check approved in advance. You will check-in with the Nurse and be required to wear a visitor’s tag at all times. For more information, contact lisa@graystonechurch.com.

How do I pick up my child?

Camp is over at 8:30pm. PreK Campers will be dismissed from the PreK room and K-5th grade Campers will be dismissed from the auditorium. For your Camper’s safety, the person picking up must have a matching Pick-Up Tag for their Camper(s). (It’s helpful to take a picture of your Pick-Up Tag.) If a tag has been misplaced, simply go to the Nurse’s Station, and provide identification.

When should we arrive at camp?

Doors open at 6:00pm.
